Velma Young – President
Velma has several addictions: horses, reading, horses, writing, horses, music. Did we mention she’s fond of horses? She has trained and shown horses since she was fifteen and taught riding for many years. She’s also a Family Search Consultant for the Church of Latter-Day Saints and works with the Prince Albert Exhibition. She lives on a 110-year-old farm and can do anything that a farm, past or present, needs doing. Velma is also a brown belt in karate, a red sash is ninjitsu and has taught beginner martial arts classes.
Cheryl Lloyd – Secretary/Treasurer
Cheryl has been writing for several decades and now herds cats in Prince Albert. She tolerates the cold winters because it’s a good excuse to stay in and write. Currently, she divides her time between writing, crafting and doing data entry work for a local museum
Wendel Guedo writes poetry to help deal with his schizophrenia and his abuses. He has previously been published in two books – “The Heart Remembers Brightly” and “Reflections in Time and Space – Gone Too Far.” He is currently running a snail mail project. The address is:

Matice, Marilyn – Past President
Marilyn Matice writes of Saskatchewan and of her family history in the Prairies. Her books include – “The Adirondack Chairs”, “My Mountain Home” and she is currently working on a middle grade fantasy series. Marilyn is supervised by three Chorkies, two large dogs and three grandchildren.
